Author Visit Information

PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

1-HOUR PRESENTATION - Author reading and book discussion with question/answer session.

Up to ½-DAY PRESENTATION - Author reading and book discussion, writing advice, how to plan stories, create a story (participants need to bring a pencil and paper).  Author may visit several classrooms or present to small groups in the library.

Up to FULL-DAY PRESENTATION - Author reading and book discussion, writing advice, how to plan stories, create a story (participants need to bring a pencil and paper).  Author may visit several classrooms and have lunch in school cafeteria with a select group of students.

NOTE
Linda Jackson is flexible and will customize a program to meet your needs. She is also available for Family Reading Night, Reading Conferences, Book Fairs, Book Clubs, Writing Workshops, Teacher In-service, and other special events.

Honorarium

1-HOUR PRESENTATION
For local schools within the Memphis/Desoto county area: NO FEE with the purchase of one classroom set (30 copies) of any of the author's books.

OVER 1-HOUR UP TO ½-DAY PRESENTATION
$200 for local schools within the Memphis/Desoto county area.
$300 for visits within a two-hour drive from Southaven, MS.  Add $50 for each additional hour driven for visits outside of the two-hour radius.

OVER ½-DAY UP TO FULL-DAY PRESENTATION

$400 for local schools within the Memphis/Desoto county area.
$600 for visits within a two-hour drive from Southaven, MS.  Add $50 for each additional hour driven for visits outside of the two-hour radius.

Travel Expenses

Author takes care of all travel expenses.
