Linda Jackson is the author of the young adult novels The Lie That Binds and When Lambs Cry, the sequel to The Lie That Binds . She has also written and published two inspirational books PROZAC Medicine for the Heart and From Molehills to Mountains. In addition to her own books, Linda published What's The Matter, Mr. Giraffe? (2003) by Gloria Menifield and There Are No Blankets On The Moon (2004) by Angela Gill and Blynda Kellner. When she has the opportunity, Linda works as an independent contractor, developing stories for reading assessments for educational publishers.
With a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Alabama, Linda Jackson enjoyed a career in Information Technology before pursuing her passion for writing. She has used her technical skills as a database administrator for Hallmark Cards, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), and Federal Express, as well as teaching database administration classes at DeVry University in Kansas City, Missouri. She has also worked with numerous youth organizations and churches as a volunteer, mentor, tutor, and teacher. She currently works with the children's ministries at Brown Baptist Church in Southaven, Mississippi, as a Sunday School teacher, Children's Church teacher, and AWANA secretary.
The combination of her career experiences, her love for children, and her passion for the written word led her into the world of publishing. Oh, I forgot to mention that she is a native of Rosedale, Mississippi, the "Delta" city of brotherly love.
Although she would love to dedicate her time solely to writing, Linda Jackson feels compelled to spend the majority of her time with her husband Jeff and their children Olivia, Chloe, and Benjamin.
